Spurred on by Ford ownership and massive resources, Aston Martin was able to increase production and invest further into production improvements, build quality, and premium finishes. This beautifully maintained Aston Martin is one of a reported 56 examples built with the exclusive “Carbon Black” option. All Carbon Black optioned cars were finished in Carbon Black Metallic with carbon-fiber side strakes, a bright-accented upper grille, a black mesh lower grille, and front parking sensors. Other features include a carbon-fiber front lip spoiler, rear diffuser, and hood vents as well as xenon headlights, swan-hinged doors, flush-mount door handles, power-folding side mirrors, front parking sensors, and integrated dual exhaust outlets. Interior features included Obsidian Black leather and Alcantara inserts for the power-adjustable front seats as well as Piano Black trim, a 700-watt premium CD sound system, navigation, cruise control, automatic climate control, front seat memory settings for the sport seats, and anodized black treadplates with “Carbon Black”-branded carbon-fiber sill plates.The first owner purchased this car in January 2011 with title and registration recorded in Colorado, then moved to West Vancouver, BC in 2012. The car remained in Vancouver until it was taken into dealer inventory in Indiana in 2015 with 4,233 miles, shortly thereafter taken into inventory at Park Place Limited, Bellevue, WA. The second owner, a resident of Southern California, purchased the car in 2015 and retained it until selling it to the current owner in 2018. 7,158 miles were recorded upon purchase by the current owner, a resident of Northern California.Service records accompanying the car date back to 2015 with dealership services performed at Aston Martin Beverly Hills including installing a backup camera (2015), installation of glass buttons, installation of a front bumper skid plate, interior leather conditioning, a 5-year service including all fluids, windshield washer reservoir pump replacement, and electrical services. In 2017, with 6,200 miles, a 6-year service was performed at the dealership including four-wheel alignment followed by a 2018 service with 7,100 miles prior to sale to the current owner. Services continued in 2019 with annual fluid and inspection service performed by Luxury Cars Los Gatos, service again in 2022 including manual transmission inspection, alignment, and vacuum hose replacement. In 2024 another fluid service was performed and the drive belt replaced. In preparation for sale, with 10,600 miles, Peninsula European Car Service replaced all 12 spark plugs and coil packs, installed new intake manifold gaskets, replaced 12 injector O-rings, throttle body O-rings, and road tested the car. A California emissions certificate was completed January 28, 2025. Condition and OwnershipToday this Aston Martin presents in excellent condition with beautiful Carbon Black Metallic paint. The finish is rich and lustrous appearing black under most lighting conditions but revealing metallic luster in brighter sunlight. The car has been metered with a digital paint meter returning single digit readings consistent with original paint. The front fascia and forward portion of the hood is covered with clear protective film. The carbon fiber front and rear aerodynamic treatments, mirror, and side vent details are beautifully matched to this color. The door jams, inner surfaces, and the front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition. The 19” wheels are in very good condition showing no significant marks to the wheel edges. A set of Michelin 255/35 ZR19 front and 295/30 ZR19 rear tires are mounted with 2015/2016 tire manufacture dates. Braking for all four corners features multi-piston brake calipers perched over large diameter ceramic disc brakes. Lenses, glass, and lighting are all in excellent condition throughout. All emblems, script lettering, and exterior details are beautifully finished and in excellent condition consistent with the low miles.The sporty black interior is elegantly finished and has been properly cared for, finished in a combination of premium leather with Alcantara seating surfaces, Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, a stunning center console, and leather topped dashboard. The interior is trimmed with silver stitching and carbon fiber accents as part of the “Carbon Black” option. The front sport seats are beautifully contoured with carbon fiber seatbacks. The dash is contrasted with black piano veneer inserts appearing on the top portion of the descending center console, adding a touch of vintage elegance. A 2” portion of the top of the dashboard seam has pulled away from the seam edge behind the driver’s binnacle. The dashboard and classic Aston Martin instrumentation operate properly as do all systems, air conditioning, and premium sound system. The condition of the carpeting, rear seats and side surfaces are all excellent throughout. In addition to the front parking sensors, a prior owner commissioned Aston Martin Beverly Hills to install a rear parking camera for ease of reverse operation and parking.Under the hood, the beautiful V12 engine is clean and unmodified from new, highlighted by elegant and purposeful castings displaying distinct insignias, all nestled in a remarkably clean engine compartment.
