Description
Estimated Price: £80,000 - £90,000
At the time of its release, the Lotus Evora GT430 was the brand's fastest road-going sports car and one of the rarest modern Lotus models with just 60 cars hand-assembled at the Hethel factory for the worldwide market. With new and specifically designed body panels featuring exposed carbon weave sections, front and rear, the GT430 weighs just 1,258kg and generates up to 250kg of downforce through the advanced aerodynamics. Larger front apertures, a new carbon fibre splitter, air blades and louvers positioned on top of each front wheel arch, clearly illustrate its supercar credentials. At the rear, aero ducts behind each wheel reduce pressure in the wheel arches and offer visibility of the wider Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres and a large rear diffuser provides a sharp visual finish crowned by the large, profiled carbon wing.
The advanced specification continues with Ohlins TTX two-way adjustable dampers offering over 20 rebound and compression settings, J-grooved and ventilated brake discs paired with AP Racing four-piston calipers all round, a Torsen-type limited-slip differential (LSD) and an adjustable traction control system. Motivation was courtesy of a 3,456cc Edelbrock-supercharged V6 with a lightweight low-inertia flywheel, baffled sump and a titanium exhaust system generating a measured 430bhp (hence the name), mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and offering 0-60mph in just 3.6 seconds on its way to 196mph.
On offer here is an extremely rare, UK-supplied, right-hand drive Evora GT430 that had covered only 4,238 miles from new at the time of cataloguing. It's beautifully finished in metallic black and rides on matte black 19" front and 20" rear 10-spoke forged aluminium wheels allowing a peek at the substantial grooved brake discs and fashionably red AP Racing callipers. The stunning interior is dominated by the carbon fibre sports seats, trimmed in black Alcantara and perforated leather with contrast twin stitching and the instrument panel, centre console and door panels trimmed in a combination of black Alcantara and perforated leather, also with contrasting twin stitching.
The car was supplied through Lotus Silverstone and was first registered on 14th October 2017. The V5C shows one former keeper and the car has been exclusively serviced by Lotus Silverstone with the most recent, a 'Major C' service in 2023. Accompanied by its service records, dealer handbooks, V5C and the Lotus accessories in the original box, this rare and special car has formed part of our vendor's significant private Collection for the last few years and we’re proud to offer such a rare and capable car to the market on his behalf. The seller would like to state that it has never been tracked to his knowledge and the car boasts 100% PPF.
As one of only 60, fewer currently in the UK, this is a rare car, a model that we have never offered before and considering this example's condition, mileage and specification, it will probably not be available again anytime soon, so we recommend and welcome your earliest inspection of this rare Lotus.
