Background

Porsche’s 911, in all its guises, remains perhaps the only modern sports coupé that the vast majority of people could identify without its badge. From its earliest days, the 911 has been regarded both as a purist's driving machine and a prestigious, high-quality piece of automotive engineering with few peers. It is a uniquely aspirational model for those wanting a reliable daily sports car that doesn’t (always) shout its performance from the rooftops. It is a paradoxical blend of statement and subtlety.

The 997 was an evolution of the preceding 996, with significant changes made to both interior and exterior styling (the most notable of these being the replacement of the 'fried egg' headlamps used in the 996 with the classic 'bug-eye' units). Larger 18" wheels were fitted as standard and other engineering changes included slightly increased power. However, the car is technically very similar to its predecessor despite many revisions. A new S version was offered, with additional power from a slightly larger engine, a sports suspension and a sports exhaust.

The Car

This particular Porsche 911 has been in its current ownership for five years, during which the vendor has covered just a few thousand miles. This mile-munching machine has covered only 67,000 miles in total and looks and drives as well as the day it left the factory.

The exterior is finished in Carrera White, complete with turbo wing, body louvres and 19" diamond-cut alloys wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sports. The car received a full respray back in 2010, refreshing its look and transforming it from Arctic Silver to this striking Carrera White.

The black leather interior, as shown in the photos, is likewise in very good condition with minimal marks or wear. It retains the original infotainment screen with various features including satellite navigation. It also benefits from heated seats, a heated windscreen and air conditioning.

This car comes with a comprehensive service history, with the last service carried out at 66,000 miles. Service stamps date back to 2009 and it benefits from a long MOT until 5th January 2026.
