Once again we were able to find a top specimen of the illustrious Jaguar XK120 series. This time an XK120 OTS which stands for “ open two seater ” and which we think is the most beautiful in the series. The lines of this car are so pure that it is beautiful from every angle. If it is also executed in Jaguar racing green with suede green interior, the picture is complete!

The story of this car starts in May 1954, when the car was delivered from Coventry to Hornburg Hollywood USA! Like many jaguars going to America, this one was delivered in cream with red interior, a combination that was not maintained during the restoration. There is an extensive file available with many bills of restoration work. Of the early history, unfortunately nothing is known but the file starts in 1999 when Mr. Richard Lopez from France carried out an extensive restoration after purchase. He took his time, as the many bills in the file show that Lopez worked on the car until February 2017. Subsequently, the Jaguar was sold to Mr. Pierre Potet, also from France. He owned the car until 2021, after which it was finally sold to its current Dutch owner in 2024. After purchasing it, this one took another look at the car and decided to install a number of upgrades and filter out any imperfections. Performed was among others:

Overhaul of the complete fuel system inc fuel pump and HD8 carburetors, adjustable telescopic shock absorbers, new 60 spoke rims in body color, michelin tires, odometer overhauled, spin on oil filter conversion, 123 electronic ignition, new batteries. pedals modified for taller drivers. Other upgrades such as buckets seats, aluminum radiator with header tank and HD8 carburetors were already in place so here is a perfectly equipped XK.

This is evident when we take the car on the road, The exhaust sound is a real symphony that we can't get enough of. The rebuilt matching engine is extremely powerful and it is clear from everything that this XK has received the attention it deserves. The original four-speed transmission shifts perfectly and steering and braking are like the best. This Jaguar will not disappoint even the most discerning driver and is ready to go for any kind of touring or serious rally.
