Launched in 1988 for Group N homologation, the 205 Rallye was much more radical than the GTI. Maximum weight savings, a 1.3 twin-carburettor Weber engine prepared by Danielson and a refined chassis - these were the ingredients that made the reputation of the 205 Rallye.
Launched on 9 June 1988, this Rallye only had 3 owners in its lifetime.
The last owner, a collector and specialist in the model, completely restored it in his workshops. Today, the Rallye is in generally good condition. It seems to have been preserved from modifications and competitions.
As the speedometer on this 205 has been replaced, we don't know exactly how many kilometres it has covered.
Much sportier than a GTI, the rallye's price is rising year on year. There's still time to buy a car like this in good condition.
