Wenn ein Fiat mehr kostet als ein Ferrari, dann muss der Fiat ein Besonderer sein. Beim Fiat Ghia 1500 GT ist genau das der Fall. Von diesem Modell wurden gemäß Herstellerangaben lediglich 846 Exemplare gebaut. Der Ghia 1500 GT entstand auf Basis des eher biederen Fiat 1500 C in Eigenregie des Turiner Karosseriespezialisten Ghia. Mit verkürzter Karosserie und Leistungssteigerung erreichte das Coupé eine respektable Höchstgeschwindigkeit von über 180 km/h. Seine ausgewogene Gewichtsverteilung von genau 50:50 sorgte für hervorragende Handling-Eigenschaften. Dabei wurde der Ghia nicht als Rennwagen, sondern als exklusives Sportcoupé konzipiert. Hervorzuheben ist die von Hand gedengelte Karosserie, die überdurchschnittliche Fertigungsqualität, die angenehme Sitzposition auf gut geformten Sportsitzen und der gute Rundumblick durch die großen Scheibenflächen. Den 1500 GT gab es in sechs Standardfarben mit einer üppigen Liste an Zusatzoptionen, darunter auch ein Doppelauspuff oder ein Overdrive. Das attraktive, sehr seltene Coupé lädt zum gemütlichen Cruisen ein und garantiert viele interessierte Blicke. Angeblich sollen nur noch 70 Stück weltweit existieren.

If a Fiat costs more than a Ferrari, then the Fiat must be a special one. This is exactly the case with the Fiat Ghia 1500 GT. According to the manufacturer, only 846 examples of this model were built. The Ghia 1500 GT was based on the rather staid Fiat 1500 C and was developed in-house by the Turin-based body specialist Ghia. With a shortened body and increased performance, the coupé achieved a respectable top speed of over 180 km/h. Its balanced weight distribution of exactly 50:50 ensured excellent handling characteristics. The Ghia was not designed as a racing car, but as an exclusive sports coupé. The hand-trimmed bodywork, the above-average production quality, the comfortable seating position on well-shaped sports seats and the good all-round view through the large windows are worthy of special mention. The 1500 GT was available in six standard colors with an extensive list of additional options, including a dual exhaust or an overdrive. The attractive, very rare coupé invites you to take a leisurely cruise and guarantees many interested glances. There are said to be only 70 of these models left in the world.
