Description

This particular car was originally sold in Austria, where it remained for most of its life until 2020, when a Swedish collector and friend of MOTIKON imported it to Sweden with a clear vision in mind. Inspired by restomods like those created by Singer and Tuthill Porsches, the new owner sought to build the 911 of his dreams.

The car he selected as the foundation for this project was already special: a Porsche 911 “30 Jahre” edition in the rare and stunning Violametallic (W8) exterior colour. This anniversary model, the 122nd of the 911 examples produced, was essentially a Carrera 4 with the wider body of the Turbo, but without any wings.

Mechanically, Öhlins suspension was installed to enhance handling. Porsche specialists at Mtech then worked on the engine, tuning it to produce approximately 300 horsepower. To manage the increased power, a new clutch kit was also installed. The car was subsequently sent to Porsche Center Stockholm, where all minor components affected by time were replaced to bring the car to the pristine condition the owner desired.

Externally, the car received several upgrades, including period-correct Speedline alloy wheels, an RS rear wing, and an LED rear light bar. The brakes were painted yellow, and the entire vehicle was relacquered in its original Violametallic colour. For the interior, period-correct RS seats, a Momo steering wheel, a new gear lever, and a PCCM stereo were installed. The car was then sent to the world-renowned Porsche interior restorer, Placek Classics, where the interior was completely reupholstered in black with seat inlays and stitching in various shades of purple, complemented by houndstooth carpets. This bold interior choice pairs fantastically with the purple exterior.

It is safe to say that the current owner's goal of creating the 911 of his dreams was successful. The car we offer here is best described as a 964 perfected—tastefully renovated and modernised for quick road driving. It is as impressive to the eyes as it is to drive.

As part of our standard procedure for all our cars, MOTIKON conducted a mechanical test on the vehicle and addressed every issue identified, ensuring the car presents as well mechanically as it does cosmetically.

Included in the sale is an interior matching duffle bag, Porsche certificate, various Porsche literature, invoices, and documentation.
