The Rolls-Royce Phantom Tempus is one of only 20 examples ever made worldwide and this car is believed to be one of only two cars delivered to the UK. It is a totally unique motorcar having been designed by Goodwood purely for the Phantom saloon which is Rolls-Royce’s pinnacle model.

Inspiration to the concept was influenced by ‘time, astronomical phenomena and the infinite reaches of the universe’. The exterior paint finish was completed in a bespoke colour of Kairos Blue which incorporates a mica flake that produces a very subtle sparkling ‘stars in the night sky' effect. The interior is further influenced by the starlight headlining being reimagined with a Pulsar star design that combines fibre-optic lighting with complex design embroidery. Door panels are illuminated to enhance the feel of length and perception of space in the car. Interior facia has been produced from a single billet of aluminium and has been milled to a design to form 100 individually contorted columns which characterises a 100-million-year period of a rotation of a pulsar star, the time clock has also been removed to ‘signify freedom from time and its limitations’. All veneers are a bespoke finish in Kairos blue, the glovebox contains a statement embossed in silver foil from Albert Einstein ‘Frozen Flow of Time' gallery. Finally, the car is fitted with a hand-painted Champagne chest that incorporates a table, thermal flasks for chilling both Champagne and caviar, four hand-blown crystal flutes and two mother of pearl caviar spoons.
