The Peugeot 203 is the first post-war model of the French car brand Peugeot. Between 1949, the end of production of the 202, and 1954, the launch of the 403, it was Peugeot's only model. It was a strikingly modern, streamlined car, the first Peugeot with a self-supporting construction. The 1290 cc 4 cylinder "super-carré" engine that delivered 42 hp was also newly designed. In a later version it increased to 45 hp, which allowed it to reach a top speed of 120 km/h. Other innovations included the steering knuckle, the synchronized four-speed gearbox and independent wheel suspension. This is an original Dutchman. Mechanically/technically perfect, it has 4 Michelin tires and has been serviced by Peugeauto Ravenstein. The starter motor was also recently overhauled.
