The production of the Jaguar E-Type, also known as XKE, began in 1961 and lasted until 1975. This car proved to be a true revolution, characterized by the captivating lines designed by Malcolm Sayer and William Lyons. It marked a significant moment for Jaguar by introducing, for the first time, the monocoque solution with front and rear subframes and a powerful 6-cylinder twin-cam inline engine with a displacement of 3800cc. Equipped with a 4-speed gearbox, it delivered a power of 265 hp, putting it in direct competition with prestigious brands such as Aston Martin, Maserati, and Ferrari.
