Description
A stylish, green patinated bronze of a skier, in the Modernist style, the solid cast figure in period dress, in classic dynamic pose, mounted on a inclined sôcle, Austro/German, circa mid-1920s, apparently unsigned. Length of sôcle: 11 in. (28 cm). Height of figure: 9 in. (23 cm).
A small patinated bronze with green patinated finish, of a ski figure in period dress descending the slopes, with stylized wood ski poles. The bronze is set on a slim, tall white marble plinth. Probably Austrian, circa 1930s. Size: 6 x 5 x 2 in. (15 x 13 x 5 cm).
A delightful small bronze of a cross-country skier, with a silvered finish, and a single ski pole. The figure is mounted on a irregular slice of white onyx. Size: 4 x 3.25 x 2.5 in. (10 x 8.5 x 6.5 cm).
