Description

The 2004 Formula 1 season comprises 18 races, including the 62nd edition of the Monaco Grand Prix, the 6th round of the year taking place on the weekend of May 23rd.

To navigate the paddock and its surroundings, the Scuderia Ferrari entrusted Michael Schumacher with a scooter. Here, presented to you in Monaco, exactly twenty years later, is an Aprilia Leonardo. It was registered in Italy on April 10, 2003, and adorned with the team's colors. It also bears specific markings identifying it as belonging to the German driver, as well as an adhesive serving as a pass - number 44 - issued by the Monegasque organizers. This scooter, a fantastic historical decorative item, would require some work to get it back on the road if you wished to take the handlebars!

In terms of competition, the Ferrari drivers qualified 4th and 6th on the grid, with Michael ahead of Rubens Barrichello. The German led for 4 laps and even set the fastest lap of the race (on the 23rd lap) in 1 min 14.439 seconds, before retiring on lap 45 due to an accident, allowing the Brazilian to claim the third step on the podium.

Ferrari would dominate this season with 15 victories, 13 by Michael and 2 by Rubens.
