Ferrari entered the new millennium on a triumphant note, with Michael Schumacher taking the Formula One World Drivers’ Champion title for the 2000 season, after Jody Scheckter had done the same for the Prancing Horse in 1979. Featuring Michael Schumacher taking the chequered flag at the end of the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Circuit on 8 October 2000, granting the Ferrari team and fans an unprecedented series of successes - 5 back-to-back championships till 2004. This special series was developed to honour Schumacher on his 50th birthday.
