An Austin J40 pedal car, stamped chassis number overpainted when restored 30 years ago, finished in British Racing Green with black leather upholstery, silver Austin decals, opening bonnet to dummy engine with spark plugs, the chassis with treadle pedals, chromed brightwork including mascot, bonnet decoration, wheel discs, radiator, headlights, horn push, steering wheel spokes and bumpers, with white steering wheel and printed dashboard, pneumatic tyres, the car 160cm long, an old restoration in good order, lacking boot catch handle, some old playwear.
