A NEW SALE IN THE STYLE CAPITAL OF EUROPE
Milan is, without question, one of the most historic and beautiful cities in Europe, known for its fine cuisine, spectacular architecture, and of course, fashion. RM Sotheby’s will host an all-new sale in this remarkable city on 22 May, in a breathtaking new venue, the Fonderia Macchi Carlo close to the city center. This historic former industrial building has hosted some of the most exclusive fashion catwalk shows in Italy, with both Valentino and Gucci selecting it to show new collections to the world’s press.
In May 2025 the venue will host a sale of approximately 50 fine automobiles befitting this outstanding venue located in the heart of this stylish Italian city.
THE EUROPEAN AND MIDDLE EAST ONLINE SALE
Taking place between 23-28 April, this online-only sale promises a stunning selection of up to 100 cars, offering examples from nearly every decade of motoring, suiting a range of budgets.
Early consignments include a 1971 Ferrari Dino 246 GT by Scaglietti, a 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 'Turbo-Look' Cabriolet, and a 1988 Bentley Continental Convertible by Mulliner Park Ward.
Late last year we reported that Bernie Ecclestone was preparing to sell off his 69 car-strong collection, including Formula One racers driven by the likes of Niki Lauda, Michael Schumacher, Nelson Piquet, and Mike Hawthorn. Now the collection has found a new home with the help of Tom Hartley Jnr. as billionaire Mark Mateschitz, son of Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz, takes the keys to dozens of legendary Formula One machines.
