Nash Motors was founded in 1916 by former General Motors’ executive, Charles W. Nash. In 1937, the company merged with Kelvinator to form the Nash Kelvinator Corporation. The Nash-Healey, a sports car developed by George Mason and Donald Healey, was launched in 1951. In 1954, the company merged with Hudson Motor Car Company and formed the American Motors Corporation (AMC).
