1965 Volkswagen T1, German made, North American original registration. It is currently registered in the UK.

In 2021 it was imported from the USA and completely restored with the creation of the Camper set-up, with cabinets and bed highlighted in the photos and further described below.

As part of the restoration, the sheet metal was repaired, the 1600TP type engine was rebuilt and the interior was renewed.

A complete rewiring with an upgraded 12 V electrical system was carried out, with the installation of a new fuse box and all new electrical components, including a newly added oil temperature gauge, retrofitted in the dashboard.

Disc brakes have been installed as well as a power brake, which is absolutely essential if you want to make long journeys in total safety.

Camping interior, including a folding gas stove on the cargo door cabinet, 3/4-wide rock 'n' roll bed with storage compartment underneath and wardrobe on one side. Rear-facing seat with storage compartment underneath. A small, central pedestal-style table can also be installed, which can be folded away and stored in the rear wall unit when not in use.

The van has a Propex gas heater which works very efficiently and can be turned on when the engine is off. There is a small hob. New curtain rails and curtain sets were installed for privacy and also for a cosy interior aesthetic.

The Camper has not been used and stored in a garage for a few months, so it needs servicing.
