The company Buggy-Center Bieber KG was initially based at Veilchenstraße 27 in Wuppertal. In ca. 1970 they began producing automobiles. The brand name of the vehicles was Bieber. Starting in 1990, the company was called Bieber Cabriolet GmbH and was located at Bahnhofstraße 20 in Borken.

The company activity was now the conversion of closed vehicles into convertibles. Starting in mid-1991, the company was based at Landwehr 62 in Borken. In 1995, saloon cars were converted into station wagons.
The last entry in the car catalogues was in model year 1999.
The models converted into convertibles included the VW Beetle, Golf, Scirocco and Polo, Opel Kadett D and Calibra, Ford Fiesta and Porsche 924 and 944. The new price was between 4000 and 4500 German marks.
