This pretty Volkswagen Beetle in its “de Luxe” Edition with the optional folding roof is a Swiss delivered example and was first registered on the 28th April 1961. The early history of the car is not known. Apparently, in around 1991, the beetle received a repaint in its original colour and, for better corrosion protection, a Dinitrol treatment was performed. In 2003 the little beetle was taken over by the vendor and has since being used for occasional outings. To maintain its proverbial reliability, in March 2024 a defective inlet manifold was replaced. Currently the beetle is in good to very good and well-maintained original condition with age correct signs of use and the last Veteran MOT was completed in September 2020.
