The Volkswagen Beetle which was built from 1938 to 2003 is the most famous Volkswagen, the most famous German car, and in general one of the most famous cars ever.
The first Beetle prototypes had no rear window. There were complaints about this during testing and two small windows were added. The panes looked a bit like the glass you seen on a pair of glasses, which is why the first Beetles are called split-window Beetles.
Technically in good condition and resprayed in the past. The colour is simply beautiful and fits perfectly with this 50s Beetle. The Beetle has a properly running engine with a nice sound, the engine matches the car. The car shifts smoothly through all gears and it brakes properly. The whitewall tyres provide the right look for that period. The interior is in good condition but used.
The car has a Belgian registration, it has had a technical inspection and is ready to be driven straight away.
These split-window Beetles are becoming more and more difficult to find and are rarely offered. So don’t wait too long and become the new owner of this timeless Volkswagen!
