The Volvo 480 ES is a compact hatchback produced by Volvo between 1987 and 1988. It was a progressive car for its time, with a striking design and innovative features. The Volvo 480 ES was originally powered by a front-mounted 1.7-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with fuel injection. The engine is connected to a five-speed manual transmission. This Volvo has a striking design with a wedge-shaped body, pop-up headlights and a sloping roofline. It also has a glass tailgate, which was characteristic of the 480 ES and provided a unique look. It is a three-door hatchback with room for four passengers. The Volvo 480 ES had a strong focus on safety, including robust bodywork, crumple zones, side protection and a comprehensive safety package with airbags and seat belts. The Volvo 480 ES was an innovative car for its time, with technological features such as an active rear axle system that provided better stability and grip in curves, and an on-board computer system that provided information on fuel consumption, distance traveled and other driving data. All in all, the 1987 Volvo 480 ES was a progressive and innovative compact hatchback with a striking design and advanced features. It was a unique model in the Volvo range and is still considered an iconic car in Volvo's history. The car was originally delivered new in the Netherlands.

The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. This car in particular has been standing outside for a long time. We have not tried to start any of the cars.
