Description
Chassis no. TS/63429
Engine no. TS/63627-E Produced at the end of 1959 and destined for US market, this car was registered in America in 1960.
Imported into Italy in the early 2000s where it was purchased by its current owner, who had it completely restored.
Restoration of the body, mechanics and interiors extensively documented in photographs and invoices, which accompany the car.
It has covered just over 1,000 miles (1,600 km) since the end of the restoration, around 10 years ago.
Although used very little, it has always been properly kept and regularly serviced by specialists.
It is still equipped with its original engine.
It comes with a British Motor Museum Heritage Certificate.
Mechanically in perfect working order, and ready to be used.
It is currently painted in Spa White over red interiors, whereas the original combination was Sebring White over blue interiors.
This is one of the most enjoyable cars to collect, and also to drive in complete peace of mind, as spares are easily sourced and it is straightforward and inexpensive to maintain. It is always well received at classic car gatherings and remains a one of the symbols of English motoring. Perfect for picnics in the countryside.
