Description

1967 Sunbeam Tiger | This Sunbeam Tiger features a white with blue stripes racing livery with number 777 displayed on the hood and doors. It includes a black cloth driver seat, vinyl floors, and a roll cage. Powered by a 260 Ford V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Also includes a Fuel Safe SM110 Sportsman Cell racing fuel cell. Features custom fiberglass fender flares. The sunbeam tiger owes much of it's success to the contribution of legendary designer, Carroll Shelby. According to the enthusiast website, Tigers United, The Carroll Shelby Design Team, removed the Sunbeam Alpine 1.7 liter four cylinder engine and replaced it with a small block 4.2 liter Ford V-8, similar to the way he transformed the AC roadster into the Shelby Cobra. Production began in England in 1964. VIN# B382002417LRXFE. Ford V8 289 302CI Engine, 4 speed manual transmission, RWD. This Bank Seized vehicle will sell at public auction on Saturday, June 25th. Location: Barber Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. www.hendersonmotorseries.com for all the details. Offered without reserve.
