Description
Sterling Nova from 1974 in very good condition.
- Porsche 914 engine
- Restored in Germany
- Spectacular design
- Fewer than 800 produced
The vehicle was manufactured in 1974 by the company California Component Cars (USA) based on a chassis of a 1964 Volkswagen Beetle. The chassis number is CCC 228.
It is estimated that less than 800 units were made, so they are very rare to find today, especially in Europe. This unit was purchased by the current owner in Germany, where it had been restored.
As can be seen in the detailed photographic dossier, it is in very good condition. Powered by a four-cylinder boxer engine from a Porsche 914, with a four-speed manual transmission.
Inside is a removable steering wheel and instrument panel from a first series Porsche 944. The spectacular cockpit is hydraulic with remote control. Two sets of keys are included.
It has two plexiglass side windows, but the two original glass side windows are also included with the car. ATS alloy wheels, with wide throats on the rear wheels and with recently installed Michelin Racing rear tyres, with less than 200 kilometres of use.
The car is catalogued and registered as a Historic Vehicle in Spain, with valid MOT and up-to-date paperwork, so it is ready to drive. A dossier with the previous old paperwork is also included.
The car is located in Madrid, Spain.
Very good condition: minimal signs of wear
