With Shelby American proving that they know a thing or two about building fast cars, it is no surprise that for their 50th Anniversary, they would unveil something as special as this GT500 Super Snake. Delivered new to Galpin Ford, this was one of only 50 Super Snake coupes and one of just seven produced in this attractive black and gold specification. The most powerful Shelby built at the time, these special 50th Anniversary models featured a 5.4-liter V8 equipped with a polished supercharger to produce a staggering 800 horsepower. In addition to increased output, these Shelbys feature upgraded brakes along with Ford Racing suspension to help harness all of that power. Offered with only 660 miles, this is a fine example of a rare model built to celebrate the achievements of high performance legends Shelby American.
