Description
Fabulous 1972 «Royale RP16» historic Formula Ford single seater totally restored in 2009 by Peter Denty and with only a few miles since.
Chassis RP16-28, FIA VIN#2021 with Technical Passport FPAK0056, raced only occasionally in the Portuguese «Single Seater Series» and some test sessions due to lack of avalability from current owner. Hasn’t raced since 2015.
This 1600 Kent engined Formula Ford has bespoke alloy radiators, original Royale tachometer, electric fire extinguisher and Spax adjustable dampers.
Due to current owner’s height, a small rollcage extension was built by «FunSpeed Engineering», easily removabale without damaging the original rollcage.
This «Royale RP16» has a very spacious cockpit, so it can easily accommodate very tall drivers.
Sold with some spares, as listed bellow:
– Great Condition Spare Chassis with FIA label
– Some Suspension wishbones and links
– Steel Radiators
– Bodywork moulds
– Bespoke made wood box with 13 extra ratios and a couple of dog rings
– Extra set of Weller wheels
– Set of Triumph wheels
A great opportunity for acquiring a ready to race historic Formula Ford single seater with some valuable spares.
