Description
"Royal Enfield was the brand name under which The Enfield Cycle Company Limited of Redditch, Worcestershire, sold motorcycles, bicycles, lawnmowers and stationary engines which they had manufactured. Enfield Cycle Company also used the brand name Enfield without Royal. The first Royal Enfield motorcycle was built in 1901. The Enfield Cycle Company is responsible for the design and original production of the Royal Enfield Bullet, the longest living motorcycle design in history.
This Royal Enfield is described by the vendor as being in good condition, he should know as it has been an ornament in his lounge for the last 12 months. We are advised by the chairman of the Royal Enfield Owners Club that this was the only Crusader supplied by ‘Weirs’ of Portadown, and the bike still bears the sellers plaque. The bike is offered for auction with a V5C registration document.
