Description
As one of 2’135 examples built, this Silver Wraith II with its extended wheelbase was handed to its first owner in Greenwich CT in 1980. During its time in the USA, the Rolls-Royce was repainted from the original “Pewter Rinshed Mason” grey to the current black with a black vinyl roof. The service booklet shows that the car has always been maintained by the same company in Greenwich albeit driven very sparingly. In 2011, with then a mere 8’000 miles on the clock, the noble saloon was taken over by the vendor and imported into Switzerland. Since then, the Silver Wraith has formed part of a collection and was only driven occasionally. With now 13’600 miles (21’800 kilometres) on the clock and a complete document folder as well as a six-piece luggage set from the well-known company “Trunks of Haslemere” this Rolls Royce is in good to very good condition and this monument to luxury transport will be sold with the most recent Veteran MOT from May 2019.
