As one of only 430 examples built, this Silver Spur III was delivered in “Wildberry” metallic to Hong Kong and registered there for the first time on the 5th September 1995. In 2016, the Rolls-Royce was then registered in England from where, in March 2017 with then 97’000 kilometres driven, it was imported into Switzerland. In October of the same year, the elegant saloon was sold again to a new owner who finally registered the car in Switzerland. The active front suspension was converted to conventional dampers and the corresponding electronic controls were removed. Later, the oil reservoir and pump of the power steering were replaced. In spring 2021, with now 98’400 kilometres, the Silver Spur was taken over by the vendor with the aim of renting it out occasionally. He had the rear suspension pressure reservoirs as well as the front struts replaced. In 2023 the air conditioning system received a new expansion valve and de-humidifier, and the control box of the headlights was replaced. Receipts exceeding 13’000 Swiss francs for the MOT preparation and maintenance are available. With now roughly 103’000 kilometres driven, the Rolls-Royce is in good overall condition and the cream-coloured interior with folding tray tables to the rear presents itself in lovingly maintained original condition. The most recent MOT was performed in May 2021.
