1912 Rolls-Royce 40/50HP Silver Ghost in the style of Barker #2133
- Ordered new by the President of the Royal Automobile club of Australia and famed Australian department store owner Sir Samuel Hordern, delivered to Australia in November 1912
- Specified to have sporting coachwork by Barker, with special "London-to-Edinburgh" type sloping bonnet and full brass fittings, C-rake steering, 6-wheel equipment, long-range fuel tank, Colonial-clearance suspension and C.A.V. lighting system
- Period upgrades include the very desirable later large-brake rear axle and under-slung rear springs. Rebuilt in the 60’s by well-known coach builder George Williams
- Current long-term ownership covering 26 years, including extensive and highly adventurous touring in five continents and 25 countries
- Recent maintenance and larger London-to-Edinburgh carburettor upgrade by marque expert Jonathan Wood
- Commonly known to be one of the most elegant Silver Ghosts in existence.
