The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe was first introduced in 2008 as ‘the most driver-orientated model in the Phantom line-up’. It remained in its original form until the Series II was introduced in 2015. From a visual standpoint, both iterations are almost identical with the headlight design revised to incorporate larger LED headlights. Notably the gearbox was upgraded from 6 to an 8 speed unit at the time.

Powered by the marque’s 6.75 litre V12, the Phantom coupe belies its size. The introduction of the Series II brought with it both power and torque increases to 460bhp with a hefty 531lbft resulting in a 0-60 sprint in just 5.6 seconds with the ‘Sport’ button pressed. The engine is whisper quiet when running as you would expect and the opulent cabin is a distant departure from the outside world.

This example was ordered new by Rolls-Royce to be kept as a factory demonstrator, rather than a dealership demonstrator, alongside a Phantom Series II saloon with a matching specification. Both examples feature in marketing material for the brand, and whilst the factory retain the saloon, the coupe was sold when it reached 5,000 miles to its current registered keeper in 2020 after a comprehensive factory overhaul. This Phantom Coupe has covered fewer than 300 miles since. 

With a two-tone livery synonymous with the marque’s history, this coupe is resplendent in Midnight Sapphire II with an Anthracite roof, bonnet and additional ‘colour to match’ hand-painted coachline.

The inside of this example pays reference to the elegance of the exterior with a two-tone interior in Navy Blue with Seashell hide interior paired with extended Zebrano Veneer, including the steering wheel. Desirably optioned with Rolls-Royce’s signature Starlight Headlining, 21” part polished alloy wheels, camera system front and rear and a wealth of desirable options. This Phantom Coupe Series II presents as you would expect for such a low mileage example with just one private keeper since factory ownership.
