This Phantom I is one of the 1 240 US RR cars built in the US Rolls Royce factory in Springfield, MA.
The RR US Springfield factory procuded Phantoms from 1926 to 1931. Only thr chassis and mechanical parts were produced by RR. The body was made and fitted by a coachbiulder who produced bodies selected by the owner.
More specifically it is one of the 15 RR coachworked by Murphy (The Walter M. Murphy Company).
Body style is Convertible Sedan Murphy, which led afterwards to Brewster Newmarket type. Brewster and Co being owned by RR after 1926.
