Presented to the world in 1986 the Porsche 959 was immediately the bench mark in the world of supercars and the fastest road registered car of its era. It was a stunning machine and a „poster car“ for a whole generation with the Ferrari F40 as its biggest rival. The technology installed was outstanding progressive with endless new features like for example the electronically adjustable ride height and shock damping, two asymmetrical turbochargers with a small one to establish low end boost while the second one starting at 4.500rpm to support the 2.85 liter air-cooled six cylinder engine at higher speed and the Porsche-Stuer_Kupplung which allowed the driver to vary the the torque between front and rear axle, all electronically. Production numbers vary but with a total number of around 300 cars produced the Porsche 959 is by far rarer then many supercars of the younger era.

Our example was invoiced to the first and only owner until today on the 11th of January 1988. The original invoice from the factory is shwoing a total price of 420.000,00 Deutsch Marks which was an incredible high price at the time. Options include Graphitgraumetallic paint, Sport seats, seat heating, alarm and Code C00 which means german specification. Completed by the original books, service book and tools this 959 is missing not one piece as it was delievered in 1988. First registered on the 14th of January in 1988 in Augsburg, Germany on number plate A-AA 959, Chassis 900047 retains the same registration plate until today. Since then it was treated very caring, maintained and driven occasionally up to 14.250km. Never receiving any kind of damage the car was driven less in the later years and finally stored approximately 10 years ago.

As being one of the most technology advanced cars of its time, the Porsche 959 can cause rather high costs servicing if there was a longer period with a lack of attention. Preventive wise we have checked and overhauled many parts and serviced the car up to date in cooperation with Porsche. To mention a few the work carried out included change of oils, liquids and filters, renewed bypass valve, installed new spark plug, checked adjustable suspension tightness and renewed hydraulic oil, checked brake system and renewed braketube. After entering the engine again, the engine has been slowly brought back to life and the car has awakened from its storage during the last years.

This Porsche 959 with chassis number 900047 being delievered new at the factory is the ultimate collectors piece and almost incomparable with any 959 on the market. Preserved as it was in 1988 and aged charmingly well with a handful stonechips but no further damages or scratches apart from a typical small crack on the right fender which happens occasionally due to normal material aging. The condition of the interieuer is as mindblowing as it presents from the outside. Hardly any signs of usage on switches, dashboard or other components. Proven and documented 1 owner from new, every single part coming with the car in 1988 is still preserved 32 years later, original invoice from the factory, books and tools, charming 100% first paint and the colour „Graphitgraumetallic“ which is to die for. Period pictures from the late 80s show the pride and happiness of the first owner when taking delivery at the Porsche factory.
