Description

This Porsche Turbo is without doubt one of the very best we have seen at Silverstone Auctions. Reading through the history file it's not surprising as it was bought by the last owner 31 years ago and has always been garaged and never seen bad weather.

Delivered new on Valentines Day in 1986 by Charles Follett of Berkeley Street, it has only covered 39,872 miles from new and had only three owners prior to our long-term owner. Finished in Grand Prix White with black leatherette and pin-stripe velour, the interior still looks factory fresh and testament to thirty-one years of garaging and little harsh daylight. It's fitted with Climate Control and a JVC CD-player and Audio unit.

It comes with an impeccable service history with eleven stamps in the service book and recent expenditure with renowned Precision Porsche specialists covering fuel pumps and injectors. Fifteen thousand pounds has been spent in the last four years ensuring it remains on the button and maintained to a top level. The history file contains all the related invoices, a complete owners handbook, two sets of keys and a original G P Weiss touch-up set (Unused).

The defining poster car of the seventies and eighties and in our opinion undervalued, this superb 930 Turbo has to be seen to be appreciated in this almost unrepeatable condition.
