Description
The car we are offering for sale is a 1965 Porsche 911 F-Type (901) with almost 3,199 kilometers (5-digit counter). In its "Slate Grey" livery, refreshed 20 years ago, and with a black leather/wooden dashboard interior, this car is in a rare condition. This generation of the 911 paved the way for the fabulous destiny of one of the most legendary sports cars in the history of the automobile, a clever blend of sportiness and elegance.
The 130 hp 2.0 L flat 6 cylinder engine has been maintained by the current owner, a renowned Porsche specialist, who has owned it for over 25 years. The gearbox and the rest of the transmission show no signs of malfunction. The engine starts to run normally and is said to be getting its advertised power.
As far as the exterior of the vehicle is concerned, it is in very good condition: the paintwork is well preserved following its total restoration 20 years ago, and the chrome wheel covers and strips are also in excellent condition. As for the chassis, it is sound, the inside of the fenders and axles have been visually inspected, as well as the wheel arches and do not seem to show any trace of rust or perforating corrosion. The only part that needs some attention is the inside of the engine cover (see pictures) with the insulators.
The interior is in excellent condition: the steering wheel with wooden rim and the original wooden dashboard are present and in good condition. The same goes for the leather of the seats, doors, and rubber floor mats. A welded half roll bar is installed in the vehicle.
For the front trunk area, all the carpets are present, in good condition, and accompanied by the tool kit and spare wheel.
Regular maintenance has been done by the owner of the car, himself a renowned Porsche specialist and tuner, for more than 25 years as mentioned earlier. Papers in order, technical controls favorable.
