Description
The car we are offering for sale is a 1973 Porsche 911 F-Type with just over 167,556 kilometers. The car is painted in superb "Grey metallic" paint, matching the famous original FUCHS wheels.
The 140-horsepower 2.4 flat 6 engine is fully functional. It is the Bosch K Jetronic injection version, which was introduced in 1973 models and was intended for the American market, the country of origin of this example.
The exterior of the vehicle is in a good state of preservation: a careful interior/exterior wash will easily revive the timeless charm of this model. However, there are still some defects to be noted, such as the lower part of the rear bumper, the door edges, or the front trunk floor which shows traces of surface rust (see photos).
The interior of the vehicle is in black leather and shows the logical signs of age: the storage compartments, sun visors, and seats need some attention to regain their beauty but remain presentable as they are. These elements can be seen in the vehicle's extensive photo file. All the interior plastics are in good condition and the equipment is functional.
The carpets in the front boot area are in very good condition. The spare wheel is present. Two batteries are installed on each side of the front fenders to distribute the weight and provide a better driving feeling.
The main asset of this vehicle is its maintenance file: it contains all the work carried out on the vehicle since it was first put on the road, recorded in a binder, alongside the vehicle's purchase invoice. Technical checks are always in order, serviced every year by a renowned Porsche specialist, duplicate keys, original tool kit, correct papers, and user manuals with their pocket provided.
