The 996-generation 911 Turbo may have calmed Porsche purists after the shift from air-cooled engines, but it was the 2002 911 GT2 that truly ignited their passion. This era-defining machine delivered raw, turnkey performance powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat six producing 462 horsepower. Its rear-wheel-drive setup, paired with a six-speed manual transmission, offered an unfiltered driving experience. Developed with input from rally legend Walter Röhrl, the GT2 boasted Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB), a sport-tuned suspension, and refined aerodynamics for peak performance.

Finished at the Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen plant in September 2002, this 996-generation GT2 is one of only 317 North American-specification examples delivered between 2002 and 2005 and one of only 90 produced for 2003. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a full Black leather interior, this example sports eight X-code options and a further four from Porsche Exclusive. On the outside it was fitted from the factory with stainless steel exhaust pipes and carbon door sills. Inside, Black leather covers the rear center console, sport seat backrests with Porsche crests on the headrests and red deviated stitching on the front seats, doors, and dashboard. The carbon fiber and leather steering wheel frames aluminum-look gauge faces along with a matching carbon fiber and aluminum shifter and handbrake lever.

First delivered to Porsche Conshohocken, it is likely that this rare and desirable GT2 was part of a dealer trade to a Scottsdale Porsche dealership as evidenced by the original stamped service book. The service book shows a Major Maintenance at the same dealer in 2006 followed by a move to North Carolina with service in 2010 and 2019 in Charlotte. The clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report shows a steady accumulation of miles beginning to level off in the mid-2010s. Today the car, one of just 317 made for the United States during its four-year production run, features just over 20,000 miles at the time of cataloging. It retains numerous delivery items including its air pump and trunk mounted tools. Due to its limited production and exceptional power, the 996-era GT2 has remained a highly coveted choice for enthusiasts and collectors since its debut.
