We are delighted to offer this amazing electric 911 with manual transmission, which has been built by leading marque specialists Rindt Vehicle Design. This rare example presents in period correct Rubystone Red with a contrasting leather trim and gold wheel rims. This work was undertaken by the experienced and talented in-house team at Rindt. Power is supplied by two Netgain twin Hyper 9D brushless electric motors. These are linked by a drive belt and we are informed, produces 250 bhp and delivers 346lb -ft torque. The weight of the batteries is cleverly distributed across the strengthened body of this 911 making handling a joy, especially as it is linked to the multi adjustable suspension. Even the conventional dials have been repurposed with the fuel gauge now showing battery power and the oil temperature gauge is now battery temperature. In a recent test drive, Classic Porsche magazine described this car as the EV with the most character of the ones they had driven. They also said that it accelerated 'like a bullet out of a gun' and that 'It is clear that Rindt's work to retain this Rubystone example's inherent factory spirit has paid dividends with vastly improved handling, power and traction'. The absence of engine noise is made up for with the scream of drive belts and sets this example streets ahead of other silent EV's.
