EXTERIOR
This GTS looks particularly menacing in unmarked Basalt Black accompanied by stunning gloss black centre lock wheels. The car sits in all of its original paint and it’s presentation is first class having been garaged its entire life. Typical areas such as lights, mirrors and rear arches show almost no signs of use.

Not since the 993 C2S has Porsche produced a normally aspirated rear-drive variant with a wide body, and with a considered execution of style and performance the GTS looks every bit the special 911.

INTERIOR
The balance of materials is perfectly presented with sumptuous special option Carrera Red leather throughout complimented by carbon fibre to the handbrake and gear lever. The Porsche embossed sports seats remain in excellent original order with no wear to either of the bolsters or bases. The carpet set also remains unmarked with the no-cost optional rear bench installed but likely to have never seen any occupants.

Tech presence in the form of Enhanced Nav and Bluetooth provide a strong case for daily driving duties.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The standard fit Powerkit lifts the output of the 3. 8-litre flat six from 380bhp at 6, 500rpm to 402bhp at 7, 300rpm, and although the torque figure remains at 310lb ft, it’s produced 200rpm lower to support the mid-range. This is all a consequence of a special intake manifold, with six rather than one single flap, switching between power and torque-optimised maps.

The standard fit Sports exhaust provides a touch more intention at lower revs and supplements more howl when pressing on, whilst the 6 speed Manual provides a tactility and involvement that the PDK can never quite reach; slick, intuitive and a joy to use.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The centre lock 19 inch RS Spyder wheels certainly look the part in unmarked gloss black, wrapped in Bridgestone rubber with plenty of tread.

The steel brakes show minimal signs of use and are more than a match for the Powerkit performance, both easy to modulate and pull the car up strongly in a straight line.
