In 1993 Porsche introduced what is regarded by many as the most beautiful 911 of all: the Type 993. Over the years the 911 has received numerous aerodynamic and safety-inspired add-ons, diluting the purity of the original form, however, the Type 993's arrival marked a return to basic principles, being recognisably a 911 but one in which all functions had been harmoniously integrated in a truly outstanding example of modern automotive styling. The range offered remained pretty much as before, comprising conventional two-wheel (Carrera 2) and four-wheel drive (Carrera 4) models, the legendary Turbo and the Cabriolet convertible, all powered by the latest, 3.6-litre version of Porsche's perennial flat-six engine. The Carrera, Carrera S, Cabriolet and Targa models (2WD) were available with a 'Tiptronic' four-speed automatic transmission.

On offer from its one lady owner with circa 12000 miles from new and in truly outstanding condition throughout, this Metallic Black, UK-supplied C16, Porsche 911 (993) C2 with an exquisite Biscuit interior has clearly been cherished from day one and cannot be confused with the many average examples on the market today. An impressive service history details continual main dealer involvement alongside an unquestionable MOT record with the present certificate being current until the 1st February 2022. It was most recently serviced in May this year which included a Porsche 111-point check and the fitting of four new tyres due to age and not wear! An increasingly desirable modern classic with unrepeatable provenance that will be difficult if not impossible to replicate, it is quite simply outstanding and, pleasingly, the very appropriate Cherished Registration Number, M1 POC will remain with the car. Your search may well be over.

Please note that the current recorded mileage is 6844, our client believes that there was a speedo fault in 2003 at circa 5,400 miles necessitating a speedo change with the recorded mileage zero' d  at that time, amounting to the circa 12,000 miles covered from 1st date of registration as stated above.
