Description

For close to five decades, one car has stood as a candidate for the ultimate super sports car. The 911 Turbo, first introduced in the mid 1970s as the 930 generation, the 911 Turbo gained a fearsome reputation as a car with armfuls of power that required talent and dedication to master.

Turbo development would continue from that point onward, both mechanically and in pop-culture, with 911 Turbos’ adorning the silver screen in movies like Bad Boys. Whilst not as flashy as some of its competitors, the Turbo and it’s even more powerful sibling the Turbo S has become a firm favourite with enthusiasts and collectors alike.

This particular car is a 911 Turbo S, first registered in 2014, making it a 991.1 generation car. Externally, the car is finished in Agate Grey, a colour that suits the subtle but bananas nature of the Turbo S. The paintwork is in great shape, and presents a deep shine.

There are a few subtle nods to the real nature of this car’s capabilities, adoring the front splitter is the Turbo S moniker, which also appears at the bottom of the doors and at the rear. The badging is black which contrasts the paint nicely.

The wheels are 20” diamond cut items that are mounted with a centre-locking wheel nut. They’re wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres and behind them is the PCCB carbon ceramic braking system. At the back of the car is a dual-level rear spoiler to add in down-force at high speed and at the front you’ll see Porsche’s Bi-Xenon headlamps and the radar system for the car’s adaptive cruise control.

Step inside and you’re greeted by a two-tone interior, whilst the top half of the dash and door cards is finished in black leather with contrasting red stitching, the electronically adjustable comfort seats are finished in a rich-red hide. The interior is in excellent condition, and benefits from a Bose audio system, panoramic sunroof and a satellite navigation update that was completed by Porsche. The interior is topped off by an optional set of carbon fibre trims that extend across the dash and onto the door cards for a motorsport inspired but ultimately luxurious finish.

In the engine bay you will find a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged flat six mated to Porsche’s mind-boggling 7-Speed PDK gearbox. It produces 560 bhp and 553 lb-ft of torque and propels this 911 to 62mph in 3.1 seconds, it will motor along provided you have the legal space to do it, right up to 198 mph.

It’s of course important then, for a machine that is quite so capable that it has been maintained to a high standard, and worry not as this car has been maintained by Porsche Main Dealers and by marque specialists. The records include;

03/03/2015 - Oil Change - Porsche Leicester
25/08/2017 - Major Service - Porsche Reading
31/07/2019 - Major Service - Porsche Silverstone
04/06/2020 - Major Service - Porsche Silverstone
04/12/2023 - Replacement Damper - Porsche Torque

The 911 Turbo S is arguably the most capable and usable supercar ever built, with four seats and luggage space, there isn’t anything that is able to keep up in all-weather conditions. Those who know, know how special this car is, and for those who don’t, it flies under their radar.

If you’re looking to add an incredibly capable car that you can use year round for everything from commuting to Nurburgring track days this could be the perfect car for you. It’s desirability, maintenance records and low mileage of just 51,000 miles mean it is surely the perfect choice.
As with all our vehicles, a full digital folder is available on request containing more images, walk-around videos, and scans of the service history. The car can also be viewed by appointment at our West London showroom.
