This well kept and nicely presented 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet with manual gearbox was delivered new to the European market via Italy in February of 1992.

The 964 is the perfect mix between a classic 911 with everyday creature comforts. When introduced in 1989, the iconic lines of the original 911 remained largely intact, but 85% of the car was brand new. The electric rear spoiler for example, but also modern technology like ABS and power steering. The then new 3.6l engine produces an impressive 250 horsepower. This makes the 964 still pretty quick for today's standards.

Completed in the ever-so-elegant combination of Black Metallic over Classic Grey full leather, the list of options indicate the first owner was a real car passionate. In addition to the great colors and electric Sport seats, the car also has a limited slip differential and airconditioning. In keeping with the thoughtful specification with which the car was originally ordered, the Porsche has received regular maintenance since new. Stamps in the original service book indicate the dealer service early in its life while a stack of records detail the continuing service through today.

The car started life in Italy and moved to France in 2004. After arriving in Belgium in 2017 the car received a Porsche Classic 111 points check confirming the car's condition. As can be expected for this age, the car has had a full respray. Today; the entire external bodywork emits a deep glossy shine overall with all glass and lenses remaining clear and free from any cracks or crazing. We can see the original panels front - including sticker - and rear indicated these were never involved in any accident.

Despite the mileage, only very light signs of use can be seen on the interior; a testimony to the car's careful owners and the quality of these fine cars. The seats, door cards, switches, door cappings and dashboard are totally unmarked. Carpets and mats also remain in fine order. No expenses were spared in recent years on maintenance including new tyres, convertible top mechanism, aircon, shock absorbers, regular service and fluids,

With its lovely color combination, its nice list of options, tool kit, its Porscher Certificate of Origin, original documentation and a lot of invoices and history, this car presents very well today. It is truly a perfect all around car—suitable as transit to a black tie dinner or the beach, it will look equally stylish at either event and is plenty sporty to make the trip there exciting!

It will no doubt appeal to marque collectors, but also presents a great opportunity to get behind the wheel of a stylish and usable modern classic convertible.

This car currently has Belgian registration.
