Description
1966 – Plymouth Barracuda
French registration title
Chassis n°68114144
- Sold new in France
- Mechanic gearbox
- Eligible to the Monte Carlo Historic
The car we are presenting was sold new in France by the importer Simca Automobile on September 15, 1966. He would then have belonged to a show business personality. This car now has a prominent yellow paint, its roof, rims and black stripes give it an American racing look. Inside, there is a leather upholstery in its original state with a central console, which was at the time an option. Mechanically, our Barracuda is equipped with the 4.5-litre V8 engine developing 180 hp, combined with a 4-speed manual gearbox. During our road test, we were surprised by the comfort of use of this muscle car. The power of its engine is perfectly exploitable thanks to the manual gearbox, which allows you to revs and thus enjoy the vocals of the V8. This car has the particularity of being eligible for the Monte Carlo Historic or the Heritage Touring Cup (Peter Auto), so it is positioned as an original alternative and will certainly set you apart from the other competitors.
Estimate : 14,000 – 18,000 €
