Description

Opel GT 1.9 from year 1973. This is a so-called GT / AL 1900 version and is therefore equipped with the more powerful 1.9 engine. The GT came on the market in 1970 and was the first sporty Opel. This sporty Opel GT 2-seater was extremely popular in the United States and was sold there many times more than in Europe. He was also called the European Corvette in Europe! The car is from Michigan, USA and completely rust-free. The car was never restored, but it did get a new coat of paint 8 years ago. The body has beautiful fittings and the paintwork is beautiful. The underside is also original and rust-free. In 1971 the 1,100 cc engine was replaced by the much more powerful 1,900cc engine with 90hp. The car now managed to reach a top of 185 km / h! This is one of the very last that was built. Production was stopped in the same year. Technically in excellent working and driving condition. The 1.900cc 4-cylinder engine runs beautifully and the 4-speed gearbox and rear axle ensure trouble-free driving. Equipped with original steel cross rims and folding windows in the rear. Equipped with a black interior, black sky. In short, a very beautiful Opel GT in fantastic and above all original condition. To get a good impression of the car we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
