French Collection Title

This 1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Cabriolet is of American origin but has been in France since the 1990s, if not previously. Indeed, we find its trace in the hands of Mr. Mitard, in Haute Garonne, in 1990. The latter largely restored the car and we keep many invoices until 2007. It is also in 1997 that the car was passed to the DRIRE for assembly in dual fuel gasoline and LPG. It was therefore in 2007 that Mr. Mitard separated from his Oldsmobile, and it was then that the car arrived in Seine-et-Marne. It changed owners again in 2014 and was acquired by its current owner in 2018. Maintained regularly, the car is in good condition. Its white body does not show any major flaws except for a very slight friction at the left rear, visible in the photos. Its chrome is in good condition, as are the lights. The soft top looks good, only a repair was made in its center but it remains discreet and well done. Above all, the interior was completely redone in beautifully red leather, no noticeable flaws were noted and all the electrical equipment seemed to work. From a mechanical point of view, the engine, which is in excellent aesthetic condition, runs well, as does the automatic transmission, which responds normally. The GPL system was recently revised and also allows the obtaining of a registration card almost free. It is still possible to drive on conventional gasoline.
This rare Delta Royale convertible is an excellent entry ticket to the collector's car, more particularly American, a real Full-Size from the 70s, in very good condition and with an inimitable look!
