The car offered was first registered in the USA in July 1950 and the then second owner commissioned a restauration around 2013/14. The coachwork was repainted, the interior recovered and the three-litre inline 6 engine as well as the three speed manual gearbox were overhauled. July 2014, the car was taken over by the vendor and imported into Switzerland. Trained as a car mechanic with its own workshop he took care of the careful maintenance of the Nash himself. In the last years for example the radiator was overhauled, and the braking system revised and converted to silicone brake fluid. Now the Statesman is in very good overall condition and will be sold with the last Veteran MOT from April 2015 to a new enthusiast and collector of exceptional automobiles - for a Swiss buyer, the Nash will be freshly MOT‘d after the sale.
