The 600 of this Nash model stands for 600 miles. In the past, it was announced that the Nash could achieve a fuel consumption of 1 litre per 12.75 with its 2.8-litre 6-cylinder. This meant it could cover an impressive 965 kilometres with a full tank. The 965 kilometres converted to miles equals 600, hence the name. Production ran from 1941 to 1949.

The life of this Nash began in 1947 in Belgium. Here it was delivered new to its first owner. The 1947 customs tax tag is still on the steering column!
After spending its time in Belgium, it was transported to Luxembourg. Here it ended up in a museum where it spent most of its life. Finally, the 1st Dutch owner had it imported and registered in 2012 and has taken good care of it, maintained it and returned it to pristine condition. New tyres and a water pump were recently fitted. The various invoices for these are present. It drives smoothly and trouble-free. Because of the long time it spent in the museum, it is very likely that the odometer reading of 16,731 kilometres is correct.

Our Nash 600 Trunk Sedan is in fine, and very original condition with a nice patina. It is finished in a grey-coloured paint with a brown cloth interior. The Nash has been fitted with a completely new interior as per the original specifications. This cost around €5,000, invoices are present. The dashboard, steering wheel & interior window mouldings are made of wood. Rear seat passengers always have a pleasant driving experience with the large amount of space in the rear. This is also largely because the car does add up to about 5.12 metres in length. All around, the American car has nice trims and red rims with a white wall on the tyres. It comes with the original radio, which is very rare.

In terms of documentation, various manuals, information sheets, bills and more are present.

Over the years, the Nash has of course suffered slight signs of use due to its age and originality, see photos.
