Description

In 1990 a Team led by ex-Ferrari Chief engineer Carlo Chiti and Le Mans/Indy driver Fulvio Ballabio creates a totally new Super-Car with World-Premiere carbon-fibre chassis. For the first time in History a road-legal car uses a Formula 1-like Carbon monocoque : the contemporary Ferrari F40 only had a tubular chassis...

Through a cooperation with Lamborghini, this ultra-sport berlinette is powered by the legendary Countach Quattrovalvole V12 downdraft engine. With 455 BHP, a sleek aerodynamic carbon bodywork, and a luxurious leather-upholstered cockpit, this ultra-lightweight new GT is hand-made in Monaco, and boasts superior performance.

The Monte-Carlo Team headed by Carlo Chiti comprised experts like G. Bellasi, ex-Formula 1 constructor and carbon-fibre specialist, Pier Luigi Corbari, ex-Alfa Romeo Engineer and Racing Director, and is supported by Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Stéphanie. Specialised Press compared the Monte-Carlo Lamborghini to the Porsche 959, to the Bugatti EB110 (still in development at the time), and of course to the Ferrari F40.

Tested by Henri Pescarolo on the Paul Ricard race track, the new supercar was so close to a racing car that two Monte-Carlo Automobiles were lined-up at Le Mans trial sessions, with a recorded top speed of 354 km/h...

Due to the nature of the Company, the production of the Lamborghini-powered berlinette remains extremely limited, only three cars. It is said that the Monte-Carlo Automobile was quickly seen as a "Diablo-killer" by Lamborghini, and consequently the supply of engines stopped... We own the very first Monte-Carlo ever manufactured, formerly property of Lamborghini Automobili, and later owned by Monte-Carlo Automobile founder Fulvio-Maria Ballabio himself.

Today, Monte-Carlo continues to produce Racing and exclusive sports cars, with a focus on green-fuel, as well as luxury power boat.

We have recently restored this fine and ultra-rare supercar, of Historical importance, to its original off-white colour. This fine ultra-sport GT is a part of Lamborghini History and, with its leading-edge carbon-fibre technology, one of the most important Automobile of its time.

Available immediatley in Paris. We can deliver our cars to any Country in the world.
