For sale in our upcoming auction on September 16th at the Montreux Palace, exhibition on the Montreux Palace garden, from September 13 to 16. The Midget which we propose to the sale is an elegant TA, whose first entry into service took place on January 1st, 1939, in Greece.
She appears in a very elegant livery British Green Racing, with brown leather. Totally restored, this Midget appears at its best and the whole paint, chromium as well as its hood and its removable side windows are in perfect condition.
During its starting up, the engine of 1292 cc started immediately and allowed in our TA to evolve vigorously on the road. The whole braking system answers from the slightest request and slows down easily the car. The wheel rims with beams and central nuts are in excellent condition and do not present either shock, or corrosion. The whole vehicle presents outstandingly well and its functioning is exemplary. The first version of the series of Midget, TA opened the way to a big lineage of Sports Roadster whose series will end with the TF, replaced later by the MGA. In part it has been through a very beautiful restoration and a very good preservation afterward. Our TA proposes a very interesting performance for every enthusiast of the pre-war English Roadster. Furthermore, proposed in a ?? So British? ? combination of color, this is a very beautiful exemplary belonging to the pre-war English automobile history.
