Description

Chassis No. GHN3L52048

Engine No. 18GB-U-H 4856

Building on the triumph of its MGA predecessor, the MGB, introduced in May 1962, was initially offered solely as a convertible. Over its 18-year production span, the MGB outshone the MGA in sales, becoming MG's best-selling and longest-running model. This solidified its iconic status as a British sports car – especially in the United States.

This 1965 MG MGB Roadster, restored under prior ownership, is finished in classic Dark British Racing Green over a Black interior. The British Motoring Heritage Trust Certificate reveals its original specifications, including wire wheels, a heater, whitewall tires, an ashtray, an anti-roll bar, and a Black packaway convertible top. This early production series car also boasts lovely chrome bumpers and a matching front grille. The interior is enhanced by the installation of a Motolita wood-rimmed steering wheel with an MG horn button, adding to the car's unique and sporty character. Today, this 1965 MG MGB Roadster remains a delightfully cheery example of the classic British roadster.
